How long does nail polish last?

Nail polish lasts about 2 years. If the nail polish is too old, it often appears thick and may change color and split. Shake the nail polish well before use and then see if it can still be applied. Pay special attention to color and texture. It is not harmful to use old nail polish, but the result will in all probability be less pretty.
It is always good to use both base and top coat to make the nail polish last longer on the nails. The base coat prevents your own nails from becoming discolored by the colored varnish, while the top coat means that the durability of the varnish on your nails is extended.

How should nail polish be stored?

Make sure to keep your nail polish dry and dark so it lasts longer. In addition, it should be stored at room temperature and not in the fridge, which is a myth.
