Different types of foundation

There are many different types of foundations, both in terms of nuances and content.
Our Foundation comes in 12 different shades, from a very light skin tone to a very dark skin tone. In other words, our Foundation is designed to suit any skin tone. The content of the foundation is formulated so that it both moisturizes the skin with hyaluronic acid and reduces redness and impurities with niacinamide.

The foundation has medium opacity, but depending on how you apply it and which makeup applicator you use, the opacity can vary from light to strong. If you want your foundation to provide full coverage, you can build it up layer by layer.
If you want more coverage than your foundation provides, you can combine the foundation with Ecooking's Concealer.

The perfect application

Before applying your foundation, it is a good idea to use a primer. A primer uniforms the skin structure and thus makes your foundation lie smoother on the skin - at the same time, primer also extends the durability of your foundation. You can either use your fingers or a Foundation Brush to apply primer. When your primer is dry, it's time to apply foundation and here you can also use the Foundation Brush to your advantage. Apply circular motions to blend the foundation into the skin. Start in the center of your face and move outward.

Skin undertones

To find out which foundation is right for your skin, you need to know the undertone of your skin. Here you distinguish between warm/golden, cold/pink, and neutral/olive.
You can find the undertone of your skin by checking your blood vessels on the wrist in daylight:
If you have a warm undertone, your blood vessels are green.
If you have a cold undertone, your blood vessels are blue.
If you are neutral, your blood vessels are a combination of blue and green.
However, our skin tone is rarely the same all year round, and therefore it may be necessary to have one foundation for in the summer, where your skin has received lots of sun kisses, and one more in the winter, where your skin is in winter hibernation. Alternatively, you can also mix two foundations, so that you always have a shade that suits your skin tone.

Foundation with SPF

The most important steps in a good skincare routine are cleansing and moisturizing - in addition, it is also important to use sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's dangerous rays. To take the best possible care of your skin, we have therefore added SPF 15 to our Foundation. This sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB rays.

Foundation for dry, impure & sensitive skin

When you have dry skin, your skin often feels tight and may tend to peel and become irritated. If your skin is dry, it is good to find a foundation that is rich in moisturizing ingredients. Our Foundation contains both hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which in their own way keep your skin moisturized and well-cared for. Hyaluronic acid is great for binding moisture to the skin and in this way it also minimizes fine lines. Niacinamide is good for a little of everything, including smoothing and improving skin structure.

Our Foundation contains various ingredients that take care of your skin. The niacinamide improves skin structure and minimizes redness and impurities. We have also added hyaluronic acid, which keeps the skin moisturized so that it has a harder time getting irritated.

If your skin is sensitive, it is important that you take care of it. It is a good idea to avoid products with perfume. All our Foundations are fragrance-free and dermatologically tested to ensure that they take good care of your skin.
