Guide: Learn all about Blush

What is a Blush?

Blush – also called rouge – is makeup that gives a glow and freshness to the face. At the same time, the color defines the contours of the face. Blush is the perfect complement to your makeup look. ECOOKING Blush is a creamy blush stick that makes it easy to apply, blends well into the skin, and lasts a long time. It is made with apricot kernel oil, almond oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E. This nourishing blend both cares for and enhances your skin. Vegan, dermatologically tested, and fragrance-free.

How do you find out which color to choose?

Blush can be divided into cool and warm colors. Choose your blush based on whether you have a warm, cool, or neutral undertone.
Don't know your undertone? Try choosing the color based on the natural color of your cheeks when you blush or after physical activity (you can gently pinch them) or look at your lips, as their color is a good indication of which blush color to choose.

How do you use a blush?

You can choose to apply the blush with a brush, your finger, or directly on the skin with the stick itself.

Where should blush be applied?

If you have a long face or want to add more fullness, it's beneficial to apply blush on the apples of your cheeks. Apply the blush to your brush and dab it on. This rounds the cheeks and gives a fuller look. On the other hand, if you have a round face or want to add a lift to your face, you can apply your blush in upward strokes. Start from the middle of the cheek and work upwards towards the temple. This gives a more lifted look.

TIP: Remember that you can always tone down your blush by blending well with the brush or dabbing over it with your fingers.
