MAKEUP FOR MATURE SKIN

With age comes a more mature skin, which is important to care for.

Time leaves its mark on the face - on the eyes, skin, and lips - but fortunately, makeup can help improve small beauty flaws and make you beautiful regardless of age.

We give you tips and tricks on how to put the most beautiful makeup on mature skin and at the same time pay tribute to your age.

Guide: Learn to apply makeup on mature skin

A beautiful makeup look starts with a moisturized and well-cleansed skin. This is important as dry skin can make you look older.

Scrub the skin at least once a week to remove dead skin cells. Also, use serum and cream daily to take good care of your skin.

Primer for mature skin

Use a Primer first. The primer evens out the skin and fills the fine lines and wrinkles in so that the makeup is neatly and smoothly distributed all over the face.

Foundation for mature skin

Afterwards, apply a light Foundation. Choose a slightly lighter skin tone than your own, as it will make your skin appear fresh and optically erase the small wrinkles. Choose a foundation with SPF to protect your skin from further damage.

Ecooking Foundation has SPF 15 and also contains hyaluronic acid, which keeps the skin moisturized and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Therefore, it is ideal as a foundation for mature skin.

Concealer for mature skin

Add Concealer under the eye and on bumps such as pigmentation and blood clots. Use a creamy and caring concealer that does not dry out the skin.

Ecooking Concealer is a creamy mix of vitamin E and jojoba oil, which protects, soothes, and moisturizes the skin. The consistency is light and penetrates the skin easily without settling in the lines.

Powder and blush for mature skin

Apply a little Mineral Powder to set your Foundation and Concealer. Too much powder will settle in the wrinkles. Just powder where your skin shines.

Afterwards, add Blush. Choose a creamy blush without glitter and shine. Dab a little blush on the cheeks and blend - be careful not to use too much in order to stick to the natural look.

Eyes and lips

Mark the eyes using an Eyeliner. Avoid a black and liquid eyeliner as it may appear too hard. Instead, apply a soft eyeliner in blue, green or brown.

Apply a lighter Eyeshadow on the entire eyelid and tone with a darker colour in the outer corner. Choose a matte one over one with glitter. Lastly, use Mascara for your lashes.

Fill your eyebrows in. With age, the eyebrows thin out, and therefore you can use an Eyebrow Pencil to give them shape. With the pencil you can achieve the most natural look. If your eyebrows are very thin, it may be a good idea to go down a tone or two.

Finish by giving the lips a bit of color. Use a Lipstick and top the look with a bit of Lip Gloss. Ecooking Lip Gloss makes the lips appear fuller and is rich in moisture and care in the form of hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.
