How to get rid of the pigment spots

The colder months are a perfect time to treat your pigment spots because the sun plays a minor role in disrupting the process - and there is not much of it in the winter. Our family members provide great defence against the irritating spots.
Here we give you a list of different products and specific ingredients that help to ensure the best result.

Peeling Mask:
An effective mask with active ingredients that exfoliate dead skin cells and speed up cell production. The peel mask straightens lines and wrinkles, while at the same time it gives your skin a more uniform and fresher look. The mask is to be used 1-3 times a week.

Start by leaving the mask on for 4-6 minutes, depending on your skin type. When your skin gets used to it, you can let it sit for 10-12 minutes - but no longer than that. After 3 weeks you'll be able to see results.

Ecooking Peeling Mask has a PH value of 3.5 and contains several active ingredients, including lactic acid and AHA acid.

All types of acid have a visible effect on the pigment spots, as they even out the colour, and help to promote the effect of other products you use for treatment. Acid has an exfoliating effect on the skin, which also makes the skin easier to absorb other active ingredients in the subsequent skincare routine.

Niacinamide:
Niacinamide is derived from vitamin B3 and it suppresses melanin, which is responsible for pigment spots, age spots, and freckles. At the same time, it improves the skin's elasticity and protects against further UV damage.

Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that reduces pigment changes and fine lines in the skin. In addition, vitamin C also stimulates the formation of collagen and gives you a more even skin with lots of glow.

Vitamin A:
Vitamin A strengthens the elasticity of your skin, stimulates cell renewal, and prevents early signs of aging. Vitamin A also helps to fight pimples, pigment changes/spots and gives your skin a uniform tone.

How do I cover pigment spots and scars on the skin?

It may take a little longer to get rid of the pigment spots, but until then, you can use our new, colourful family members to hide your pigment spots.

When you need to hide pigment spots, sun damage or scars on the skin, you can either use a matte foundation or a concealer with a yellow or orange undertone and a high pigment content. The high pigment content means that the spots can be covered.

Of course, well-cleansed and moisturized skin is always the best starting point for makeup. Start by dabbing a little foundation or concealer on the area - in the same colour as the skin tone of the areas you want to cover. Use either a Foundation Brush or a Concealer Brush depending on how large the area to be covered is. Last but not least, finish with a little Mineral Powder on top.
