MAKE YOUR OWN MASK WITH ECOOKING

We can all use a bit of self-pampering from time to time and a great way to do so is to use a lovely face mask! If you do not have one ready to use for you at home, don't worry - there is no need to leave the safety of your home to find an effective face mask. Making one yourself only requires a few ingredients, that you, in all likelihood, already have in your kitchen.

Here are the recipes for some nourishing face masks which are easy to make and are suitable for all skin types:

MASK FOR DRY SKIN

1 tsp oatmeal
2 tsp honey (if you don't have honey, but have Ecooking Multi Oil, you can use it as well)
1 tsp yoghurt

Method:

Mix the ingredients together and put the face mask on for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, rinse your face with lukewarm water.

MASK FOR OILY SKIN

1 egg yolk
1 tsp honey
1 banana or avocado
2 tbsp calming tea
10-20g yeast

Method:

Mix honey, tea and yeast together. Then add the egg yolk and banana. Mix all the ingredients together and put on the face mask for 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse your face with lukewarm water.

MASK FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

A little oatmeal to be chopped/crushed into small pieces - you can yourself decide the amount, depending on how much you want in your face mask
1 egg yolk
1/2 avocado or banana
25g butter

Method:

Melt the butter and let it cool off to a room temperature. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and add the butter in the end. Allow the mixture to cool down before putting it on your face. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water.

SCRUB MASK

Salt, sugar or coffee grounds
Oil

Method:
Mix the ingredients in a 1:1 ratio and use the mask to give your face a gentle scrub.
TIP: You may want to add a Vitamin A capsule to your mask to make it even more effective.

Enjoy!
